For years, the Collier Family Reunion has honored and celebrated the history of the beloved children of Georg and Vivie Collier — the Six Brothers: Channel, Eddie, Jesse, Sonnie, Willie Ben, and Crawley.

In 2007, the Six Brothers were represented at the reunion through cardboard cutouts, making it feel as if they were alive and present during that year's celebration. Along with the Six Brothers, the reunion that year was attended by 115 people who enjoyed themselves at Willow Grove Picnic Park.

This year's reunion also paid tribute to the Collier Family Reunion Signature Quilt, created by Shirley Morrison and presented in memory of Joseph Van Reed Hinson. The quilt now features patches dedicated to numerous past members of the Collier family. It has become a cherished part of our family treasures, alongside our history, memories, plaque, and colorful T-shirts.
